Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) are declarations defined in accordance with ISO 14025 that evaluate and declare environmental performance of a product or service according to predetermined categories (raw material extraction, energy use and efficiency; emissions to soil; waste generation, material, and chemical content; air, water) based on parameters specified in the ISO 14040 series quantitatively. It is a trade-oriented certification scheme and takes the ecological footprint and various emission values of economic activities into account within the scope of the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).

Süratam Sustainability Services is the regional executive of the Swedish origin The International EPD (https://environdec.com/home) System and is the ONLY internationally approved ISO 14025 and EN 15804 compliant authorized registration institution in Turkey for EPD documents under the name EPD Turkey.

MAS Certied Green® is a certification system that contributes to indoor quality by measuring the type and amount of chemical emissions emitted from indoor products and materials in order to measure the possible effects of Airborne Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) on human health. MAS tests and analyzes are performed and reported by following the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), ANSI/BIFMA method, requirements and protocols; provides certificates that are independently verified by the National Science Foundations (NSF). Süratam Sustainability Services is the ONLY consultancy company in Turkey that assists companies in the process of obtaining their certificates and has an agreement with MAS test laboratories.

The Health Product Declaration (HPD) is a standard used to report product ingredients and their effects on human health. HPD has been developed to provide more transparency and clarification in product reporting and to declare material information to explain the effects of construction products on human and environmental health.

The framework has been developed by HPD Collaborative with consensus of architects and designers, is widely used by experts working in various fields such as manufacturers, contractors, material researchers and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) who are the stakeholders of the building industry. Süratam Sustainability Services has undertaken the consultancy of the FIRST HPD certificate issued in Turkey.
